Master class for 2017 Year of the Rooster “Chicken Christmas tree toy”
Do you want your New Year's present caused a storm of positive emotions and was remembered for a long time? Try making it yourself! On the eve of the Year of the Rooster, we offer a unique master class on making a Christmas tree toy, namely a charming chicken from an ordinary light bulb. Moreover, it is not necessary to buy a new light bulb; you can use a burnt-out version. But first things first.
1. Degrease the light bulb using nail polish remover. This is necessary so that the glass “adheses” to the paint. Let the light bulb dry.
2.Paint the glass part of the light bulb with white acrylic paint in two layers. Let's dry it.
3.Take yellow paint and create a background for our chicken. It is advisable to apply the color in two layers.
4. Using a simple pencil, draw the eyes, beak, eyebrows, then draw them with a thin brush.
5.Holding the light bulb by the base, coat it with varnish.
6.After the varnish has dried, make a Santa hat from plasticine. We insert a loop into the center of the hat, using which you can hang the chicken on the Christmas tree.Additionally, secure the loop with glue.
7.In order for the paint to lie evenly on the plasticine, use a small brush to cover the cap with flour.
8.Color the headdress red and white.
9.Coat the cap with varnish.
The Christmas tree toy is ready! Feel free to hang it on your green beauty or present it to someone close to you, putting it in a beautiful package. The symbol of the year - the fiery Rooster will certainly appreciate your efforts and become a good patron for the entire 12 months!
