Album-book of wedding wishes

On a special wedding day, a lot of interesting things always happen for both the newlyweds and all the guests. A sea of ​​flowers, gifts, emotions, congratulations and impressions on this day. Accordingly, in order to remember and capture every detail at the wedding, professional photographers work. He tries to literally capture every moment of this day in the photo. Well, the newlyweds’ task is to purchase an album for these photos. Or you can even take not just an album, but also have pages for photos and pages for wishes from guests. So that after many years, you can open it and not only look at the photo, but also read the wishes that the guests wrote. Such albums are also called “books of wishes.” They can also be purchased in a factory-made version, but they are very beautiful, and most importantly, this album can be made independently in an original and individual way. Pages for it can be purchased electronically on the Internet.

To make and sew an album book, we need to take:
• 20 by 20 cm two sheets of binding cardboard;
• Sintepon;
• Plain fabric of lilac color, thick satin or cotton;
• Printed pages 20 by 20 cm, we print 40 pages with wishes and 40 sheets for photos, all in lilac color;
• We also use cotton or satin for floral fabric in lilac color;
• Wooden chipboard with the inscription “Book of Wishes”;
• A pair of silver rings with a diameter of 50 mm;
• Four metal corners in silver;
• Lilac wide lace, width 4-5 cm;
• Eyelets are light lilac and purple;
• Installer for eyelets;
• Solid metal brads, white and purple;
• Die-cut leaves from turquoise mother-of-pearl cardboard;
• Small metal brads with lilac-colored pebbles in the middle;
• Paper hydrangea 25 mm and 50 mm lilac, white and lilac-white;
• Roses of good quality from Belve paper, purple and lilac of different diameters from 1 cm to 2 cm;
• Fabric white flower;
• Two hearts metal pendant in silver;
• Lilac scrap paper two sheets 30 by 30 cm;
• Die-cut paper napkins white and lilac with a diameter of 11 cm;
• White ribbon with fabric roses;
• Flags and glasses made from cuttings;
• Transparent corners for photos;
• Double-sided tape and adhesive with adhesive effect;
• Lilac ribbon 25 mm wide;
• Glue stick;
• Ruler, lighter, pencil and scissors.



We cover both binding squares with strips of double-sided tape.


Glue the padding polyester squares. Now we cut the fabric, two sections for each piece, and lace between them.


Smooth the pieces of fabric well, iron them and sew them together, and sew on the lace at the seams. This creates a closed seam. We turn the fabrics over, place the blanks, wrap them and glue them.


Now we cut off strips of lilac ribbon, also iron it, and glue it in the center on each of the blanks from the inside.We sew both blanks along the edge. Now we need to glue the pages together in pairs so that on one side there is a wish, and on the other side there is a page for the photo.


Now we need to machine stitch each pair along the edge.


We take scrap paper and measure out squares to decorate the cover from the inside. Two 19.5 x 19.5 cm squares and a small 8 x 12 cm rectangle for the front cover.


First we sew one rectangle onto the cover, and then the other.


Now we insert brads, flowers and pendants onto the cover. Glue the scrap paper from the inside onto both sides of the cover.


We glue the “Book of Wishes” chipboard onto the front cover. We glue petals, stripes, roses and a ribbon with roses.


We put three eyelets on each side of the cover. We place metal protective corners on the corners of the cover.


We mark the places where we need to make holes on the sheets and punch holes in all the sheets.


We assemble the entire album into rings and insert a ribbon in the center. The album of wishes is ready. Thank you everyone for your attention!
