Clock - night light

Clock - night light - a wonderful thing for those who like to wake up at night. Usually people wake up in the middle of the night and frantically look for their mobile phone to check the time. Our craft kills two birds with one stone: it is both a clock illumination and a night light. There is enough light to confidently see in the room. The brightness and color of the glow can be easily adjusted as you wish.

This is where we will make our watch. To do this, we need the mechanism itself, from a Chinese watch or from any other, the most important thing is that the hands also work.

A rectangular piece of plywood, I took an old picture frame. And drilled holes in it for LEDs and the mechanism itself is in the center.

I glued white paper to the front side. I cut out the red stripes from red self-adhesive paper. note that LEDs turned towards the center.

Next - electronic cases. Look at the diagram. The capacitor is 0.22 uF and the voltage is not lower than 400 volts. A resistor with a power of at least 1-2 W, diodes for a voltage of 400 volts. LEDs small, super bright, color at your discretion.

 

We connect, turn on, check.

The same can be done with ordinary wall clocks.

For food LEDs You can also use a step-down transformer, or even a pulse converter such as a cell phone charger.
