New Year's house made of cardboard
You should definitely spend the New Year holidays with your children. And for fun to also bring benefits, it’s worth doing New Year’s crafts.
A house made of thin cardboard looks very original and interesting. It can be decorated with a wide variety of shiny tinsel. Or you can attach tiny branches of evergreen trees to the facade.
Materials:
We draw blanks for the house on cardboard with a simple pencil. After the line you will need to erase.
The roof detail is a rectangle. Dimensions: 12x8. The frame of the house itself can be made in one piece, if the size of the cardboard sheet allows it. Otherwise, we separate the blanks along the fold line. This will be the corner of the house. You can assemble a house from four parts - one for each wall. Only in this case, do not forget to finish drawing the valve for gluing. The two sides of the house are squares (6x6). They alternate with walls with a roof triangle on top. Its height is 2 cm.
Cut it out.
Erase all pencil lines. We bend the blanks at the corners of the house.
Glue it together.
We glue the window blank to one of the walls using double-sided tape. It is a square with rounded corners.
We glue the roof, having first bent it in the middle.
We use paints to paint tiles on the house, logs on the walls, window frames, and glass.
Apply a little glue to the roof point by point. Sprinkle glitter or small pieces of rain on top.
We attach green branches to the facade of the house. This can be done using double-sided tape and a snowflake of a suitable size cut out of paper.
