Ceiling lamp with pattern
Each of you can make a simple and amazingly beautiful LED ceiling lamp with a beautiful pattern. To do this, you don’t need as much as it usually seems, and the result will exceed all expectations. Your home will immediately take on a different look and be filled with fabulous comfort.
Necessary materials
- Wood (blocks or slats) for the frame.
- LED Strip Light:
- If you take pure white, then I recommend taking - LED strip 220 V.
- And if you take the colored one, then take it - RGB LED strip. - Tracing paper or other film or paper. You can even use regular office white paper.
- Bracket is used for ease of assembly.
- Furniture stapler.
- Wood glue.
- Hot glue gun.
- White and paints, for decoration.
Mistakes I made at the beginning
Friends, when repeating my lamp, it is advisable to take into account my mistakes made earlier, so as not to redo the lamp several times later:
- - Do not use wood glue alone, without steel staples. The structure will not be strong.
- - Do not use slats for the frame that are too thin - the result is the same - the whole structure will be flimsy.
- - Do not glue tracing paper only in the corners, without gluing the entire perimeter.
- - Do not put tracing paper on hot glue, this is also not acceptable.
Let's create a cover with a design for the lamp
I bought a bunch of square wood slats from a local hardware store and cut them up. I didn't have any specially designed design.
Tip 1: These slats can be simply installed into the frame and secured with a stapler.
Tip 2: Do not over-tighten the corner clamps as this will distort the frame. Everything should be within normal limits.
Glue the tracing paper
In order to make a good and matte light, you need to use something like tracing paper or frosted glass. I recommend that you choose a denser and more flexible material. White fabric can even work here, but over time it can turn yellow.
Let's make a frame for an LED lamp
I'm done with the front, front frame with the pattern. It's time to build the lamp frame itself, inside which the LED strip will be mounted.
I made it all from a wide wooden strip. After construction, we glue the LED strip.
Install the lamp and enjoy the result
How to hang a lamp, I think, will be clear to you. This can be done on brackets and on metal corners... It all depends on what material it will be attached to.
I really enjoy this lamp. Its smooth and relaxed glow... It always calms me down after a hard day at work.
