First of all, let's figure out what planing is. It turns out it's very simple. Stroganina is thinly sliced frozen fish or animal meat. Stroganina is one of the main dishes of the peoples of the north, which, given their temperature, is not surprising. Today we are preparing mackerel stroganina.
Ingredients:
- - mackerel - 1 pc.,
- - salt - 0.5 tablespoon,
- - garlic – 3 cloves.
We will also need cling film and a sharp knife.
Step-by-step process for preparing mackerel stroganina
Thaw the mackerel and cut it into fillets.
Peel the garlic and press it using a garlic press.
Place the mackerel fillet skin side down, add salt and grease with garlic paste.
We fold them towards each other so that the skin is on the outside.
Wrap tightly with several layers of cling film.
To marinate the fish, leave it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours and then transfer it to the freezer. Within 24 hours the mackerel will be very frozen. We take a sharp knife and finely chop it - shaving it.
You can sprinkle freshly ground black pepper on top.
It’s especially tasty with young boiled potatoes, although as an appetizer, in the broadest sense of the word, it’s also excellent!
