How to drain gasoline without swallowing it: A bulb from a PET bottle onto a hose

To avoid sucking liquid into it with your mouth when draining through the hose, it can be equipped with a bulb made from a PET bottle. It is simply irreplaceable when it is necessary to drain fuel, water from the aquarium and in other cases when drinking liquid is undesirable.

What you will need:

• hose;
  
• plastic bottle 0.5-1 l;
  
• Hot melt glue.

Holes slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the hose are drilled or burned in the bottom of the bottle and the cap.

Next, insert a piece of hose into each of them.

To seal, the joint should be glued with hot glue. You can use silicone sealant, but then you will have to wait until it sets.

Now, by lowering one hose into the container and blocking the second with your finger, you can pump the liquid by squeezing the bottle.

As soon as it is full, the finger is removed and then everything flows by gravity.
