Incredibly quick salting of lard, it will be ready for the evening table
Fresh lard can be turned into salted, spicy and very soft lard in just 15 minutes. Be sure to try this quick, easy recipe.
Ingredients for marinade for 1 kg of lard:
- water – 1 l;
- salt – 2 tbsp;
- bay leaf – 3 pcs.;
- ground pepper – 0.5 tsp;
- peppercorns – 15 pcs.;
- curry seasoning – 0.5 tsp;
- hops suneli seasoning – 0.5 tsp;
- head of garlic.
The process of making quick lard
The lard is cut into small pieces so that it is better soaked in the brine.
Next, the marinade is prepared. The amount of ingredients is calculated depending on its weight. Salt, bay leaf and peppers are added to the water.
Then lard is immersed in it and brought to a boil.
After boiling, the foam is removed, then the lard is pressed with a flat plate and cooked for another 15-20 minutes.
After cooking, chopped garlic, curry and suneli hops are added to it.
The lard is pressed again with a plate and after the marinade has cooled, it is sent to the refrigerator.
After 12 hours, it is removed from the marinade and placed in a jar.It is better to cook 1-2 kg at a time in order to eat it quickly, since it does not last long.
