Mackerel in a jar will be more tender than in the sleeve
I recommend that you cook very tender and extremely appetizing mackerel at least once in your life, not in a baking bag, but in a glass jar. If you have fish lovers in your family, then this recipe will delight them. Everything is prepared very simply and quickly.
Ingredients
- Fresh or frozen mackerel 1-2 pcs.
- Onions 1-2 pcs.
- Carrots 2 pcs.
- Peppercorns 6-8 pcs.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Vegetable oil 1-2 tbsp.
- Glass liter jar.
- A piece of foil.
Cooking mackerel in a jar
If the mackerel was frozen, then defrost it.
Cut off the head and tail. We remove all the tripe, then wash it.
Cut into pieces 2-3 cm in length. Salt.
Chop onions and carrots.
We take a dry, uncracked jar without chips.
We put peppercorns on the bottom and make a pillow of onions.
Place a couple of pieces of fish and cover with carrots.
We do this for 2 more layers.
The jar must be filled to the top. Add sunflower oil.
Cover with foil folded 2-3 times.
In a cold oven, place a plate of water under the rack.
Next on top is the jar.
Turn on the oven at 180 degrees Celsius and wait 40 minutes.
Fragrant mackerel with vegetables is ready!
Very tender, melts in your mouth.
