Installing a secret, anti-theft switch with your own hands

Before any manipulation, remove the terminal from the battery.

Remove the casing with the gearshift knob.


We drill the rim to match the diameter of the switch.

We install the toggle switch, secure it with thread lock and tighten it with a nut.

We install terminals on the ends of the wires and blow them with heat shrink.

We also equip long wires with terminals and install them in corrugation so that everything looks like a factory-made one.


We will install the casing with the gearshift knob in place and secure it with screws.

We will pass the wire carefully under the dashboard.

Connecting a toggle switch

The switch is usually installed in the gap in the wire going to ground from the ignition switch. Let's take the ignition switch connector and ring it by finding the common wire.

Let's cut it into pieces and clean it.

Let's connect the wires coming from the toggle switch.

We insulate with heat shrink.

Wrap it with black electrical tape and plug the connector into the socket.

Let's reinstall the battery terminal and check that the secret anti-theft switch is working.
