How to make water supply with remote control
A remote control system for water supply can be useful in many areas of everyday life. A classic example: watering a garden or filling a container. To show how easy it is to do this, let's assemble this setup and control the water tap from a distance.
Will need
- Radio control module with remote control -
- Electronic valve -
- Power supply for 12 V and a current of at least 2 A -
Manufacturing a remote controlled water supply system
It is not necessary to buy a remote control module for 4 commands as in the example, you can take any one. Remove the cover from the controller.
We see a large, long connection block from the relay, and a small one with two contacts on the side - this is the power supply for the module. One 12V unit will be the feeder and module and valve. Therefore, we will make a branch from the minus of the block to the relay contacts.
Next, connect the valve to the plus of the block and the output from the open relay contacts.
The valve can now be included in the system with flexible connections. Please note that there is an arrow on its body showing the direction of water flow. If turned on incorrectly, the valve will not work.
Next, we turn on the unit to the network and try to control the valve.
Let's test it in action by connecting it to the central water supply.
The radio module records the state and the voltage is maintained on the valve until the remote control button is pressed again. Naturally, while water flows through the valve, a voltage of 12 V is present on it.
