The simplest and cheapest homemade TV wall bracket
To hang the TV on the wall, you need to buy a special bracket separately. However, it is much cheaper to make a simple suspension instead. Its cost price is just a penny, and it holds it very reliably.
Materials:
- Perforated mounting tape;
- M5-M6 bolts – 4 pcs.;
- nuts M5-M6 – 4 pcs.;
- dowels or wood screws – 2 pcs.
Suspension manufacturing process
First of all, you need to select 4 bolts for the mounting threads on the TV. Most often this is M5 or M6. Then 2 strips of perforated mounting tape of the same length are cut.
They need to be bolted to the TV. Moreover, the strips themselves must be pressed to the TV with nuts. That is, first a nut is attached to the bolts, then tapes are put on them, and they are screwed into the TV. As a result, the strips are tightened with nuts, and the bolt heads should protrude to the same length.
The top of the tapes is attached to the wall with screws or dowels.
Thus, they act as suspensions on which the TV hangs. In this case, the bolt heads will move it away from the wall to create a ventilation and inspection gap.
