How to make an electric insect trap
One of the most effective ways to combat mosquitoes and other insects is bait lamps. Unlike aerosols, they do not poison indoor air, so they can be used in living rooms. It is enough to screw such a lamp into the chandelier socket, and by the morning all the mosquitoes hiding in the house will be destroyed. You can make such a device with your own hands.
Materials:
- Rectifier diodes 1N4007 – 4 pcs. - http://alii.pub/5m5na6
- capacitors 105J/450V – 4 pcs. - http://alii.pub/5n14g8
- resistor 100 kOhm - http://alii.pub/5h6ouv
- blue Light-emitting diode - http://alii.pub/5lag4f
- LED lamp housing;
- steel mesh.
Mosquito killer manufacturing process
It is necessary to solder the destroyer circuit element from two rectifier diodes and two capacitors. Pay attention to the location of the cathode and anode of the diodes.
Next, we solder an additional two capacitors and two rectifier diodes, as shown in the photo. We also include a resistor and blue Light-emitting diode.
Next, we make mesh electrodes. To do this, we connect two steel meshes with a fine mesh, laying dielectric material between them around the perimeter.The outer mesh is made with a slightly larger cell than the inner one. Wires are soldered to the grids.
Next, we disassemble the LED light bulb and place the assembled circuit into its housing. We supply power to it from the base, then connect it to the grid circuit.
Now when screwing the device into the cartridge Light-emitting diode will emit a blue glow that attracts insects. As soon as the mosquito touches both the outer and inner cells at the same time, it will be killed by an electrical discharge.
