How to unscrew a jammed nut on an angle grinder and 1 trick to avoid it
When working with an angle grinder, in some cases it bites disk, because of which it flies apart and mechanically clamps the nut very tightly. After which it is almost impossible to unscrew it with a regular key.
The option of clamping the angle grinder in a vice, engaging the lock button and trying to unscrew the nut using a wrench and lever did not produce results and only led to the breakage of the lock. Therefore, it is better to exclude this method from your practice.
How to easily unscrew a stuck nut
Let's try another way. Using pliers or pliers, break off the remains cutting disc.
Next, we clamp the tip of the blade of a construction knife in a vice, and turning on the grinder, we clean out the remains disk, remaining under the jammed nut.
Now all that remains is to clamp the lower nut, for example, with an adjustable wrench and unscrew the clamping nut with a regular wrench without using a lever.
How to prevent a nut from jamming
To ensure that the clamping nut never gets jammed when working with an angle grinder, it is enough between the clamping nut and disk place a cardboard or rubber gasket in the form of a ring configuration.
