Multi-tier shelf
A multi-tier shelf consists of only 4 main parts: a wall beam, a metal zigzag rod (tube), brackets for fastening, boards for the shelf or chipboard. The number of shelves may vary depending on needs. From single-tier to multi-tier shelving designs. For the initial stage, we present a drawing of a four-lane version. The base for the bookshelves is two wooden beams suspended on metal hinges. For chipboard shelves, make a distance of about a meter between two bars so that they do not bend due to the number of books. The easiest way is to make a bracket from thick wire with a diameter of at least 6 mm. If it is difficult to bend the whole element, make it in sections of two rows. At the same time, the number of fastenings (loops), etc. increases. All wooden parts are cleaned, after which they are processed either to look like wood, or painted with various paints (enamels, etc.), it all depends on the interior of the room. Coat with furniture varnish in several layers. All this must be done before the final assembly of the rack. Well, what about metal ones? One option is to paint the parts with paint (bronze, silver, gold), or dark varnish. When everything is dry, we collect, arrange the books and admire.
