Doll box
We will need:
1. Empty plastic bottle 1.5-2 l.
2. Doll (Barbie, Cindy upper body).
3. 5 m tape width 4 cm.
4. 5 m lace.
5. Lining fabric: 2 rectangles, 15 cm high, the length should be slightly larger than the diameter of the bottle.
6. Cotton pad 2 pcs.
7. Gun and glue.
Cut the empty bottle to 10 cm at the bottom and 10 cm at the top. You need to cut off the neck from the top half.
We take a cotton pad and cut out a circle of the same diameter from the lining fabric. You need to stitch them together (you need to run several lines so that you get squares), this way it will become a little tighter. You can trim the second cotton pad slightly, making it smaller in diameter, and repeat the procedure.
Next, we take the prepared rectangle (lining fabric) and on the side that is longer, we give a free stitch so that it can be pulled together. We tighten the stitch and make a tube out of fabric the diameter of a cotton pad, and sew it together. To make the bottom, sew on a 0.5mm stitched circle (where we pulled the fabric together).
The same procedure must be carried out with another cotton pad, which is smaller in diameter; this cylinder will be for the upper part of the box.
We place our lining - a cylinder - into the lower part of the bottle, carefully straighten it and place it on the outside. Using hot glue, having arranged it nicely (with small folds), you need to glue the lining to the bottle (outside). You also need to cut a 5 cm piece from the tape and glue it to the edge of the lining (as in the photo), this will be the fittings.
We do the same with the second half of the bottle.
Now let's start making the dress. We sew the ribbon and lace together with a free stitch along the edge and tighten it a little (you need to make even folds). We take hot glue and use a gun to start gluing the dress on top in a circle. We make a circle, cut it, and very carefully glue the joint together. Stepping back a little, we make the next row. And so on until the end of the bottom half of the bottle.
Starting with the top part, we need to make clothes for our doll. Here, using a ribbon, we make a bodice for every taste (in our case, securing the ribbon crosswise). You can make a hat from leftover lace and ribbon. Having pulled it to the limit, arrange the lace beautifully and place a ribbon on top (glue the hat to the head).
Next, you need to insert the doll onto the top of the bottle and firmly secure it there. Then we take the lace with a ribbon and repeat the procedure for creating a dress. We start gluing from top to bottom. After the top part of the box has dried, you need to connect the box by gluing to the top part the piece of tape that we first attached to the bottom half.
