Children's elastic band “Sun”
Every girl is a real princess to her family and friends, so she should have matching jewelry. For example, a charming elastic band “sun” will be a great addition to braids.
To create it you should prepare:
- glue gun.
- ribbon 1 cm wide, light green color.
- ribbon 5 cm wide, yellow.
- scissors.
- medium-sized beads of golden color.
- tweezers.
- sewing needle and thread.
- rubber.
Sequencing.
From the yellow tape you need to cut out squares, the sides of which should be up to 5 cm long. You will need 5 pieces of such parts.
Now the resulting parts should be given the shape of a triangle using addition.
Now you need to thread the needle and make a simple seam along the edge of the triangle you made. This seam should run along all sections of the part 2-3 mm from the edge.
After this, the thread cannot be cut; instead, you need to pull the seam tightly so that the fabric gathers in tight folds. Only after this should the seam be secured with a few additional stitches and the thread cut.Now you can carefully scorch the uneven cuts with fire, but it is important to ensure that the seam you have made does not burn.
Next you can straighten out the folds of the petal.
Now you need to make the same details from the remaining yellow squares.
After this, from a light green ribbon 1 cm wide, you need to cut 12 pieces, each 7 cm long.
From these segments you need to make petals. To do this, the piece should be placed face up, and without turning or twisting, fold the edges together one on top of the other.
The connected sections must be melted with fire, while soldering the edges. Following these steps you need to make petals from the remaining segments.
When all the parts are ready, you can start connecting the flower. To do this, taking 6 light green petals, you need to glue them together in a circle, gradually overlapping their edges along the circumference, on top of each other. The result should be two flowers.
Now you need to glue them one on top of the other in their center.
After this, you can put them aside for a while and make a flower from the yellow petals. They also need to be glued into a circle.
Now you will need the set aside light green circles, because you need to glue the yellow flower you made to them.
You need to seal the middle of the resulting inflorescence with beads.
Now all you have to do is attach the elastic band to the base of the flower.
The decoration is ready!
