Creative Christmas tree made of denim

In anticipation of the Christmas holidays, many people purchase New Year's decorations in stores, boutiques, markets and trading houses. But if you are bored with the monotony of the products presented, then I suggest you save a little personal money and make something original, unique, with your own hands. That item that will ideally suit your New Year's interior, or will become a wonderful, extraordinary souvenir for friends, relatives and acquaintances for the upcoming New Year 2015.
Looking at New Year's decorations and photos in the interiors of houses, one can note their diversity, but the main emphasis is always placed on the festive tree, because it is it that carries the unique spirit of the New Year's mood. Let's try ourselves as designers and create a bright, original decorative Christmas tree from denim. To create a creative Christmas tree you will need an hour of your free time and your imagination.

Materials needed to create a Christmas tree from denim:
1. Thick white paper (cardboard) - 1 sheet.
2. Glue or tape.
3. Scissors for cutting.
4. Ruler.
5. Tailor's needles.
6. Denim (two types, light and dark).
7. Threads.

So, let’s look at how to make a Christmas tree step by step:
1. Take a sheet of cardboard in A4 format. We twist it into a cone - this will be the base for our Christmas tree.




2. We fasten the edges with tape or glue them with glue (I use tape).



3. Trim the bottom so that it is even.



4. Cut 5 strips of denim. I got 2 dark and 3 light stripes, each 6 cm wide. Then we stitch the fabric so that a flounce is formed.



5. We string the resulting workpiece onto a paper cone and secure it with needles.



6. Continue to the end of the Christmas tree, combining colors. We attach a square of denim to the top.



7. Our Christmas tree is almost ready, all that remains is to decorate.



8. Decorate with toys (tailor’s needles).
