Funny cat made of fabric

Sewing a funny cat toy will not be difficult. But such a wonderful cat will become one of your baby’s favorite toys! And the cat is not simple, he is a real “gentleman”! And it’s okay that he has such funny pantaloons. Look at what a gorgeous bouquet he has in his paws and an elegant butterfly. Why not a cutie?

To work you will need:
-paints (white, brown, black) – acrylic,
-filling – cotton wool or polyester,
-thread and needle,
- fabric for pantaloons – cotton,
-small artificial flowers,
-awl,
-pencil,
-glue – “Moment”,
-wool fabric - for the body,
-multi-colored woolen fabric - for the bouquet,
-satin ribbon for the butterfly,
-threads – for embroidery (floss),
- buttons.

Print out the cat pattern, then cut it out. If you want, you can increase its size.



Attach the pattern pieces to woolen fabric. After this, sew on a sewing machine. Be sure to leave holes, they will be needed to fill the toy.



Cut out the pattern and turn it inside out. Fill the toy's ears with polyester and machine sew them.



Then fill the entire body with polyester along with the legs. And sew up the holes.



Start sewing pantaloons.Take a cotton fabric, fold it in on both sides and sew it on a machine.




Now fold it in half and trace the pantaloon pattern on it. Machine sew along the contours.





Use a pencil to mark where the cat's navel will be. Sew the belly of the toy twice with an awl, slightly tighten the thread and secure it.



Pull the pantaloons a little at the top with a thread. Well, you can put pantaloons on a cat. Then carefully sew them to the body.




Using buttons and a needle, sew the legs to the body. By the way, the buttons also look like decoration for a toy! Use a pencil to mark where the cat will have eyes and fur. Color the strips of wool with white and brown paints. Outline the eyes with black paint.



Turn out your panties. That's how wonderful they turn out!
For the bouquet, take two multi-colored pieces of woolen fabric. Size – approximately 8 x 8 cm.



Wrap small artificial flowers in fabric and tie them with a bow (using ribbon or lace).



The butterfly is easy to make. Take the ribbon and glue its edges from the middle. And wrap another piece of ribbon in the center, leaving the ends. Using glue, glue the butterfly to the neck.



Sew the bouquet to the cat's paw with threads. Using floss threads, embroider eyebrows, a smiling mouth and nose. You can use blush to brighten your cheeks.



Look what a gallant gentleman cat is! True, he probably lost his tail without a tail in the battles for the beautiful cat. But if you want him to have a tail, then simply sew a long woolen strip or ribbon on the back and tie it with a beautiful bow.
