Organza hair clip “Primroses”
This flower is made of organza. The hairpin consists of two colors joined together. She's big and beautiful.
To work on the hairpin you will need:
- organza and sequins.
- white organza.
- soldering iron with a sharp tip.
- ten pearl beads.
- floral wire.
- thin ribbon for decorating bouquets.
- thread with a needle.
- large hair clip.
- glue gun.
First you will need to prepare templates for the flower petals. We draw it in the shape of a drop, but at the wide edge we make a cut four cm long, and the drop itself is nine cm high and six cm wide. We take the organza and put one on top of the other. We draw a hot soldering iron along the contour of the template, creating double-sided petals. And you will need 24 such petals.
In order for the petals to be lush and voluminous, you need to collect each 4 cm cut into a bunch.
We give all 24 petals a voluminous new shape.
Now we prepare two pieces of thin ribbon for flower bouquets of 50 cm each, ten beads for pearls, two circles of thick white fabric with a diameter of 4 cm. Cut 10 pieces of floral wire ten cm long.
And we begin to create the middle of the flower. To do this, cut out ten squares with sides 7 x 7 cm from shiny organza.
Take one square at a time and start folding. First, fold the square in half from corner to corner.
Then we fold the triangle in half again, with the corners facing each other, to form a small folded triangle.
In this way we add 5 squares. And now we place them on top of each other, grabbing the needle along the wide side of the triangle. You should end up with a ladder, where each next petal starts from the middle of the previous one.
Now we take and tighten all 5 petals together with a thread. We get a small flower of five triangles.
It's time for the stamens. We make them from wire and beads. We thread the wire into the bead. We bend it in half and twist the two edges of the wire together under the bead, we get five stamens per flower.
Now, from 0.5 meters of thin ribbon, we make a decoration of three curls and secure it. And from the second segment we make the same decoration.
We begin to collect flowers. First one first. We take one circle of white fabric, divide it into four parts and put 4 dots.
Use a glue gun to secure the first four petals to these points.
Now we fix four more petals of the second row, placing them in a checkerboard pattern relative to the first. We also glue the third row. At this stage you will need to attach the decoration of their three curls.
While the glue dries, we attach five stamens to the middle of a small flower. All that remains is to glue this flower into the middle of the large one. Our first flower is ready. We do the second one in the same way.
To complete the decoration you will need a hair clip.
We place two flowers on the clip, directing the curl decorations in opposite directions. And glue everything well.
