Hair clips made of shiny foamiran
This rose will be a great hair decoration and addition to your wardrobe. It is 5 cm in diameter.
For work we will need:
- shiny red foamiran with a thickness of 2 mm and a green hue of 0.8 mm.
- glue gun.
- scissors.
- foil.
- hair clip 4.5 cm long.
Let's start drawing templates for the product. The flower itself consists of 3 elements. And each consists of 3 petals. And you need one support for the flower.
We take plastic suede of red and green shade.
We cut out three blanks from red foamiran according to the template.
And we begin to give the petals a new shape. We knead each petal one by one with our fingers. Since this suede is impregnated with glitter glue, it changes shape very easily when stretched. We press the small petals in the middle with two clubs and stretch them, giving the shape of a boat. But we additionally twist the upper edges of the petals to the upper side from the middle.
When all three petals are ready, we begin assembling the rose. Take 10x10 cm foil and crumple it into a droplet.We take one blank of three petals, and glue this droplet into the middle with the tip up. Now we attach these petals one by one to the foil and glue them tightly to each other. There will be a bud or the first row.
We continue the second row, from the next petal. We start by gluing the bud to the middle.
We also attach the petals of this row with a glue gun, smearing from bottom to middle, in a spiral, overlapping the edges of the petals slightly on top of each other.
And the third row remained. Also, the middle is glued, but we lubricate the petals with glue only at the edge, lifting them up a little.
It's time for the green background. First, we cut out the blank according to the template.
We process, knead each corner of the substrate with our fingers. We twist it and then straighten it in the middle.
Add more curved stripes in the middle of each petal of the backing.
Now we turn the finished rose upside down and glue our backing.
The rose with green petals is ready.
Now we take a hair clip and cut small leaves from green foamiran in any shape.
We glue such leaves to the top of the hairpin.
All that remains is to glue the rose onto our clip-pin.
Our hair decoration is ready.
