Organza hair clips “Morning Dew”
This hairpin is made of two types of organza. Made using a soldering iron or burner.
For such a flower, about 15 cm in diameter, we will need:
- soldering iron with a sharp tip.
- yellow organza, and the second with sparkles.
- beads in organza color.
- a little gold thread.
- hair clip.
- glue gun.
- a piece of glass or ceramic tile.
Let's start working with templates. You will need a circle made of dense material, perhaps plastic, with a diameter of 5 cm. The second template is a flower petal, it is in the shape of a droplet, but cut off at the bottom. The cut will be three cm, the height of the template will be 7.5 cm, and its widest part will be five cm.
We turn on the soldering iron, but you can also use a fabric burner. We take the yellow organza, lay it out, and on top of it we level the second one with sparkles. We put glass or ceramic tiles to burn on it. We take the petal template and apply it to the fabric, cut it out along the contour with a soldering iron.
And we will need twenty of these petals.
When all the petals are cut out, we will give each of them a different shape. In each workpiece, we fold the lower cut three cm wide into an accordion shape and secure it with a soldering iron.This is similar to the movement of making a point. And you need to put 2-3 “points”.
This is how we secure all 20 petals. This method allows the petal to become voluminous due to the resulting void between the two tissues.
It's time to assemble the flower. We take our plastic circle with a diameter of 5 cm and fasten four petals on it crosswise. We secure them along the edge with a glue gun.
We complete this circle by gluing 4 more petals between the four petals, and in the first circle we got eight petals.
The second row will be the same, and in it we glue 8 petals, staggered with respect to the first row.
And we fix the remaining four petals in the middle of the future flower.
Now let's start decorating it. Fold golden threads 6 cm long without cutting the edges. Then you need to tie them in the middle, and fold them in half and secure them with thread. The resulting stamens are three cm high and glue such a bunch of threads into the middle of the flower.
Now we take beads in the color of organza and attach them with glue to the edges of the petals of the first row, where there are eight pieces, and the last one, four.
And the last piece of decoration remains - this is a hair clip. We take our finished flower, turn it upside down and glue a clamp onto the plastic circle with a pistol. With this our hair decoration is ready.
