A small gift for a big holiday
Not always present must be big. You can crochet a cute coffee cup stand for any occasion. This will require threads of five colors.
Progress:
1st row:
• in a sliding loop we knit one chain stitch and 14 sc behind the back wall.
2nd row:
• with yarn of the first color (red) we knit a double crochet, 1 sc, half double crochet, then 2 double crochets in one loop, pull out a long loop,
• switch to another color, for which we insert the hook into the loop where 2 stitches are knitted, take out the white thread and knit an air thread with it, then 1 sc, 1 hdc, two double crochets in one loop,
• with other colors knitting We do the same, starting with an air loop in the last knitted stitch.
3rd row:
• start with the first color (red),
• knit a double crochet in the first white loop, make 2 dc in the next three loops,
• pull out a long loop,
• repeat this procedure for the remaining four colors.
4th row:
• we knit all 5 elements of the pattern with rapport *5 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc*.
5 row:
• cut the threads of all colors except black, which we will use to tie the circle,
• secure the yarn tails with a connecting loop,
• hide the strings on the wrong side of the circle.
6th row:
• we tie loops in a circle with single crochet stitches, randomly making two in one loop in some stitches so that the circle does not fold.
7th row:
• along the edge of the circle we knit 3 lifting loops, in the next loop 2 dc,
• through two loops we make a connecting one,
• continue until the end of the circle with rapport *3 chain stitches, 2 dc in one loop, skip two, make a connecting one*.
Note: depending on the chosen border pattern, the stand can be in the shape of a flat circle or saucer.
Designations:
- double crochet - dc,
- single crochet - sc,
- half double crochet - hdc,
- air loop - ch.
