Children's vacuum cleaner for games
Children, playing role-playing games, get used to various images. And kids are best able to portray their parents leading home life. For such games you need various items that you can make yourself from available materials. In this case, it will be a vacuum cleaner.
To make a toy vacuum cleaner with your own hands you will need:
- a bottle with a handle for conditioner or liquid washing powder;
- a piece of corrugated pipe or hose (50-70 cm);
- wheels on an axle from a children's car;
- household brush for clothes;
- electrical tape or tape;
- awl and scissors.
Remove the sticker from the surface of the bottle. Soap helps remove it, but the surface still remains sticky. White spirit allows you to completely clean the bottle of glue residue.
Remove the cap from the bottle and make a hole in it. Its size should be equal to the diameter of the corrugated pipe. An awl allows you to cut the hole evenly. Using it, we make several holes in the lid, then cut it around the circumference with scissors or a knife. Rough edges can be sanded with sandpaper or a file.
We insert one end of the corrugated pipe flush with the lid. We fix the parts together so that the “vacuum cleaner” does not fall apart during children’s games.The easiest way to fasten is to make holes with an awl and fasten with thread. Screw the cap back into the neck of the bottle.
Next, we attach a household brush to the other end of the corrugated pipe. Its width should be approximately the same as the diameter of the pipe. If the brush has a handle, it is better to cut it off. We also remove excess bristles in advance.
We cut a rectangular hole at the end of the pipe into which we insert the brush. We fix it with electrical tape: first the end, and then in two places along the diameter of the pipe.
At the last stage we install the wheels. To do this, we pierce two holes in the bottle with an awl, thread the axle, and attach the wheels. All that remains is to decorate the children's vacuum cleaner. For example, stick the logo of some well-known company selling household appliances or a colorful picture on the surface of the bottle.
