Tools:
This dessert will take 2 days to prepare, so you should prepare in advance. You should start with the gums.
Pour 1/4 cup cold water into a saucepan, add 1/2 gelatin. Leave for 5-10 minutes for the gelatin to react. Add red gelatin and mix well. Add 1/2 cup boiling water and place on the stove over low heat. Do not bring to a boil.
As soon as the gelatin has dissolved, you need to add a little condensed milk, the more milk there is in the pan, the lighter the final product will be.
Repeat the same for the portion of gelatin from which the teeth will be formed, but not with colored gelatin, but with transparent gelatin with the addition of condensed milk. You will get two blanks with multi-colored masses.
Remove the pan from the heat and pour the liquid into a microwave-safe bowl and cool to room temperature. Grease the silicone mold with sunflower oil. Once the gelatin has cooled, use a small spoon or pipette to transfer some of the white gelatin into the mold, filling the part where you want the teeth to be.
Place the mold in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to allow the gelatin to set. After this, apply pink gelatin in a thin layer and cool again. Next, pour more pink gelatin from the pan to completely fill the silicone mold. If the gelatin does not harden layer by layer, the layers will mix and the appearance of the dessert will be ruined. Once the molds are completely filled, place them in the refrigerator for another 60 minutes. Repeat the procedure until the gelatin runs out.The specified quantity should yield 16-18 jaws.
Now that the gelatin teeth are ready, they need a shell.
Dissolve 4 packages of gelatin in 4 cups of cold water and heat the mixture on the stove. Leave the gelatin to swell (5-10 minutes).
Add 4 cups of boiling water and 2-3 cups of sugar. Here it is necessary to check the sweetness as some people like a sweeter shell, others vice versa. The finished mass is boiled for another 5-10 minutes. It is necessary to warm the mass well, but do not bring it to a boil.
Once the mixture is smooth and transparent, add 2 teaspoons of citric acid and remove from heat.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Pour half the mixture into a semicircular microwave-safe dish and cool it in the refrigerator. As soon as the mixture has the consistency of sour cream, place the jaw blanks on it and pour in the remaining gelatin. Cool the dessert thoroughly again. If you keep the transparent layer in the refrigerator, you will not be able to arrange the dentures beautifully. And if you start laying them out too early, the dentures will sink to the bottom and ruin the appearance of the dessert. Lay out the jaws layer by layer, alternating them with transparent layers of gelatin. The last layer should be transparent gelatin.
Cover the pan with cling film and place the dessert in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. This will allow the gelatin to completely harden.
Due to the fact that the mold was greased with sunflower oil, the dessert will be easy to remove.
Enjoy the resulting masterpiece, and catch the surprised glances of your neighbors or work colleagues. Bon appetit.
Delight and surprise your friends and acquaintances, do this for your colleagues at work and you are guaranteed good reviews.
