How to deliciously cook crucian fish soup
It is from crucian carp that the most delicious and nutritious fish soup comes out. To make it rich and aromatic, you need to use fresh fish for its preparation. Cooking such an easy and healthy dish does not require much work.
Ingredients
You will need:
- medium crucian carp - 0.5 kg.
- water - 1.5 l.
- carrot - 1 piece
- onion - 1 onion
- potatoes - 2 pieces
- pepper (black peas) - 5 pieces
- bay leaf - 2 leaves
- pepper - on the tip of a teaspoon
- salt - 10 g.
- greens - several branches.
Cooking crucian fish soup
Let's move on to cooking, step-by-step recipe:
1. We clean the crucian carp from scales, remove the gills and entrails from it and rinse with clean water.
2. To make the fish soup rich, place the fish immediately in cold water and turn on the gas under the pan.
3. As the broth boils, reduce the gas and skim the foam from the surface of the broth. Then throw in the peeled onion and cook over low heat for a quarter of an hour.
4. While the fish is cooking, coarsely chop the potatoes.
5. Cut the carrots into half circles.
6. To prevent the fish from boiling, take it out onto a plate and add a little salt.
7.Strain the broth through a colander and add potatoes and carrots into it. Salt, pepper, throw in peppercorns and bay leaves.
8. After 15 minutes, when the vegetables are cooked, turn off the heat and return the crucian carp to the broth. We taste the fish soup for salt. If necessary, salt the broth again.
9. Finely chop the greens.
10. Add some of the chopped greens to the broth and let the fish soup brew for a few minutes to absorb the aroma.
11. Pour the finished food into portioned plates. Place a piece of fish in each bowl and sprinkle with the remaining herbs.
The result is a rich and aromatic soup that is impossible to refuse. Even when cold, such a low-calorie and healthy dish will be delicious.
