Crucian carp baked whole in the oven - the simplest and most delicious recipe
Crucian carp, despite the large number of bones, has tasty and tender meat. From simple fish you can prepare an original dish that will delight guests with its amazing taste. The dish will turn out tastier and more aromatic if you prepare it from fresh crucian carp.
1. Remove the scales from the fish. Having cut the abdomen, we take out all the insides and remove the black film. We rinse the carcasses well and remove the gills from the head. They can be easily removed with scissors or simply pulled out with your hands.
2. To chop large bones, use a sharp knife to make deep cuts on the sides of the fish. Then rub it on all sides with pepper and salt. We leave the carcasses to salt for five minutes.
3. Lubricate the crucian carp with mayonnaise and place them in a fireproof form.
4. Peel the onion and chop it into half rings.
5. Distribute the onion evenly over the fish.
6.Heat the oven to 180 degrees and cook the crucian carp for 30-35 minutes. During this time, an appetizing crust will form on the fish, and the onion will acquire a golden color.
7. Place the finished crucian carp on a plate, add herbs if desired and serve on a dinner or holiday table.
