Potato pancakes with meat
Potato pancakes with meat are a dish designed for true potato connoisseurs. It has an incomparable taste, appearance and aroma. Fried pork meat adds zest to this dish. Surely many will like this version of potato pancakes.
The amount of ingredients is designed for 3 – 4 servings. For pancakes, peel 600 g of potatoes, then grate them on a fine grater. Add to it 1 grated onion and garlic passed through a press (2 - 3 cloves). In addition, you should add 1 tbsp. l. wheat flour, 1 egg. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste and mix well. It should have a thick consistency. Use your hands to form several pancakes 0.5 - 1 cm thick. Fry in vegetable oil in a well-heated frying pan until half cooked.


Cut the fatty pork meat (300 g) into small pieces and fry in a frying pan until cooked. Peel 1 large onion, cut into medium cubes, fry in the same oil in which the meat was fried.


Add 1 carrot, cut into half rings, to the onion. Simmer everything until half cooked.


Place prepared pancakes, meat and onion and carrot gravy in layers in each pot. There should be pancakes on top. Add 0.5 tbsp to the pots. l. sour cream (thick) and 1 tbsp. l. water. Simmer in the oven at 200 degrees until cooked. After approximately 30 minutes, the pots can be removed. Place the finished pancakes on a plate and pour 1 tbsp over them. l. sour cream.
