Bottle with vegetables

A very beautiful souvenir for the kitchen can be made from the simplest things. All you need is a custom-shaped glass bottle, bright fresh vegetables, acetic acid and a little aesthetic taste.
For such a souvenir I needed:
Juice bottle
Acetic acid 70% - 2 bottles,
Hot pepper – 5 pods,
Garlic - a handful
Large carrots – 1 pc.,
Funnel,
Baking paper,
Rubber.

Wash the bottle from the labels and wipe the outside dry. Cut the vegetables beautifully and pour them into the bottle in layers. It is important that the cutting is perfect - piece by piece. For example, I chopped carrots this way. First, I cut off the rounded edges to make a rectangular parallelepiped, and then cut it into equal cubes.

If you don’t want to cut, you can use whole vegetables: hot red and green peppers, cloves of garlic, corn, peas, capers. It all depends on your imagination and the shape of the bottle. It should also be taken into account that only small cuts and thin pods will fit into the bottle - a fairly voluminous vessel is limited by a narrow neck.Alternate contrasting colors so that the future souvenir has a solid appearance.

Fill a bottle filled with vegetables with acetic acid through a funnel. Vegetables will absorb the vinegar and the level may decrease over time. To avoid opening the bottle again, I suggest immediately shaking the full bottle and lightly tapping it on the table. The vegetables and vinegar will settle a little and you can add more acid.

Close the bottle tightly with a lid and decorate with food paper. The bottle is stored indoors, but it is advisable to keep it away from the stove, heating radiators and places accessible to children. The best option is to put it on a high shelf. Over time, the vegetables in vinegar will change color a little, but the bottle will still look bright and decorate the kitchen.
