Bottle with cereal
Such bottles are sold in specialized gift stores. But, excuse me, you can make them yourself! There is nothing complicated here. A little creative translation of the products available in the house, a minimum of effort, and we will receive a wonderful souvenir for the kitchen, and completely free of charge.
To make such beauty we will need:
- Transparent glass bottle of unusual shape – 1 pc.,
- Colored cereals - several types,
- Twine or any decorative thread of any thickness,
- PVA glue,
- Funnel.
Wash the bottle from stickers and labels and dry. For this souvenir, the bottle must be dry inside and out. Pour layers of colored cereal into the finished bottle.
To add small grains, you can use a funnel, and for large grains, use a broom)I used beans and lentils of two colors, peas, buckwheat and rice. I also wanted to use colored salt, but no, it would be superfluous here. The layers of cereal should contrast with each other, then the souvenir will look good. Also try to make layers of the same width and not alternate large and small grains. It is best to start with the largest ones (beans, lentils, chickpeas) and gradually move on to smaller ones (rice, buckwheat, semolina). The narrow neck looks impressive with small grains.
If you are making a bottle in present, then it is better to sort out the cereals and beans, removing all the debris - pebbles and spoiled grains. Having filled the bottle completely, you need to plug it with a cork or close it with a lid and tightly wrap the neck (or part of it) with twine. The role of twine is purely decorative; it can be replaced with fabric or ribbon. Use glue to securely attach the thread. It is not necessary to glue the entire thread, just secure its ends with glue.
A very original souvenir is ready to decorate your kitchen shelf.
