The simplest mousetrap made from a PET bottle in 1 minute
Various traps are used to catch mice on a plot, apiary or in the house. We offer the simplest, but very effective design that can be assembled in 1 minute.
300 ml of water is filled into a plastic bottle.
Then add a little sunflower oil on top.
You need to try so that it spreads over the walls of the bottle and lubricates them.
Next, the bottle is placed horizontally on the floor, with its neck on a brick.
The neck should lie on the edge so that the mouse, attracted by the smell, can climb into it. The angle of placement of the bottle is selected so that the water does not reach the neck by 5-7 cm.
The trap is set overnight. Mice, attracted by the smell of oil, will climb into the bottle, but since its walls are slippery, they will not be able to get back out and will drown.
What you will need:
- PET bottle 1.5-2 l;
- brick;
- water;
- sunflower oil with flavor.
