How to make a Power bank with a solar battery
Summer is coming soon. There are more and more sunny days. Travel awaits everyone. And it’s just great if you have an external battery that can be charged from sunlight. You can always stay connected and charge other USB devices, be it a tablet or an MP3 player. The thing is extremely useful and convenient. You can assemble it yourself without much effort and expense.
You will need the following parts

Making an external portable battery with a solar panel
Using a hacksaw, cut a piece 10 cm long from the PVC pipe. Holding a piece of pipe over a gas burner with pliers, let it soften. Using two pipes we form the workpiece. We cut off the uneven edges with a hacksaw and sand them with a file. We cut out two plugs on each side from sheet plastic. We take three batteries and tie them with tape. Using serviced wires we connect everything in parallel. We take the charging module and make slots in one of the plugs for its connectors. We solder the wires from the batteries to the module. Solder the wires to the solar panel. In the center of the body we make holes for the wires and install the solar battery. We fix it with glue. We take a resistor and a diode. We connect in series and insulate with heat shrink. We solder it parallel to the solar panel. Next, we solder the diode so that the current flows from the panel to the battery, and not vice versa. Glue it in Light-emitting diode, which will indicate the charging process. We paste the module. We solder everything. Close the lid and secure it with glue. Even with little light, Light-emitting diode shows that the solar panel is generating electricity and charging is in progress. If there is no sun, you can charge the power bank from the mains using a regular charger. And then use it for its intended purpose.Watch the video
