A simple stove being tested for a greenhouse or tent
To maintain heat in a greenhouse or tent, various types of stoves are used. One of the most profitable is working on working off. This homemade stove can burn for up to 10 hours on one refill. It will easily heat a small greenhouse, greenhouse or tent.
Materials for making the stove:
- tin;
- corrugated cardboard;
- tin drain pipe 110 mm;
- 1/2 inch pipe.
The process of making a stove for a greenhouse
A tin can will serve as a fuel reservoir.
The more spacious it is, the longer it will burn without refueling. A wick is cut out of corrugated cardboard into the jar. To do this, 2 cardboard rectangles need to be cut in half lengthwise.
Then the blanks are connected crosswise, and the wick is inserted into the jar.
After this, fuel is added.
The bottom of the stove is made from a piece of galvanized drain pipe 30 cm high.
On one side you need to make cuts on it to bend part of the metal inward. This will serve as the bottom for installing the jar.
The resulting gaps will ensure air flow.When lighting, you will first need to insert the can into the lower stage, and then light the wick.
The upper stage of the stove is a longer piece of drain pipe that fits onto the bottom with a socket. At the top, the second stage is connected to a thin chimney tube. The latter will need to be taken outside the tent or greenhouse. To ensure resistance to the second stage, 3 legs made from a strip of tin are installed on the rivets.
After ignition, if burnout is applied, the stove smokes a little until the oil heats up. After this there is almost no smoke.
The oven is universal, as it can even be filled with vegetable oil from deep frying, melted lard, paraffin and other fuels. It also accommodates a gas camping burner.
