How to make a fence section from chain-link mesh without welding
Chain-link is the cheapest and most common mesh for fences in stores. To make it last longer, it is best to stretch it onto frames made of a profile pipe. This installation method is available not only to those who have a welding inverter. Such sections for the fence can be made without it.
What you will need:
- Rabitz;
- knitting wire;
- profile pipes;
- screws for metal.
The process of manufacturing fence sections from chain-link
Blanks for the frame are cut from the profile pipe, taking into account that they should overlap in the corners.
At the corners of the overlap, the marked contact walls of the pipes, as well as half the width of the sidewalls, are cut off.
The blanks trimmed in this way are placed on a flat surface in a frame. Then they are leveled. The easiest way to do this is to position the frame diagonally. Then metal screws are screwed into the corners.
Markings are made on the frame along the grid cells, and holes are drilled for them.
Then the chain-link is pulled onto the frame. To fix it, a knitting wire is used.
Such sections can be screwed to the eyes on the posts using self-tapping screws or bolts.
That is, we get the most ordinary fence, but made without the use of welding. This method allows you not to buy an inverter or hire a team to fence your area.
