How and from what to make a mini hand drill with your own hands
For drilling printed circuit boards, parts for modeling and other small things, a miniature hand drill is enough. This tool can be made by hand. This will require inexpensive parts that are sold on Aliexpress.

The manufacturing process of a mini hand drill
Bearings are pressed into a 75 mm long section of PVC pipe from the edges.
Then a 5 mm flange coupling is clamped to the end of a 100 mm piece of rod. The resulting shaft is inserted into a tube with bearings.
A drill chuck with an adapter is installed on the shaft protruding on the back side of the tube.Everything is adjusted in such a way as to avoid the formation of backlash.
To make a drill handle, a thin strip is cut out of sheet aluminum to serve as its lever. It needs to be drilled and screwed onto the shaft flange coupling at two points. The handle itself is an M3 screw inserted into a lever onto which a 3 mm coupling is clamped.
The result is an excellent mini-drill, which, when using a good sharp drill bit, can even drill aluminum and fairly thick plywood without any problems.
It is a compact, silent and lightweight instrument, useful for modelers and radio amateurs.
