Do-it-yourself ultra-high voltage generator 500,000 V
Few people thought that you can get 500,000 V at home without transforming the voltage, but by generating it from a mechanical energy source. This requires only a special electric generator. Anyone can assemble such a device if they use this guide.
What you will need:
- Enameled copper wire 0.13 mm;
- W-shaped plate cores for the transformer – 2 pcs.;
- frames for transformer coils for an W-shaped core – 2 pcs.;
- wires;
- neodymium plate magnets – 6 pcs.;
- housing bearings on the feet – 2 pcs.;
- shaft for the diameter of the inner race of bearings;
- rotor drum;
- thermal tube, insulating tape.
Manufacturing process of a 500 kV generator
It is necessary to wind 0.13 mm wire onto 2 coil frames.
Before doing this, one edge of it should be cleaned of enamel and a wire should be soldered to it. The easiest way is to just burn it. The soldering area must be insulated.
Each frame is wound with 15 thousand turns of wire. A wire is also soldered to the second end of the winding. The windings are then insulated with tape.The coils are placed on W-shaped cores.
The coils must be mounted on a base made of plywood, board or piece of laminate, in the center of which a rotor with permanent magnets is placed. They should be located on the sides of it. The clearance from the rotor to the coils should be minimal.
Each such coil, when rotating the rotor by hand, produces almost 400 V AC. If you connect them, the indicator increases to 700 V.
The generator rotor is a cylindrical drum with an axle mounted on two bearings. 6 rectangular plate neodymium magnets are glued around its circumference. They are arranged with alternating polarity. To prevent the magnets from flying off at speed, it is better to wrap them on top with wire and glue its turns with superglue.
Before a full test at high speeds, the generator should be strengthened so that the coils and rotor do not move. In this case, when connecting an electric motor as a drive, you can get an output of up to 500,000 V.
