How to make a watch battery on water
Powering a digital watch requires very little energy. Thanks to this, instead of a AA battery, they can operate on a water battery for some time. Let's look at how this can be done.
Materials:
- Steel wire;
- copper wire;
- capacitor 100 uF 25 V - http://alii.pub/5n14g8
- copper wire insulation;
- 2 glasses;
- salt;
- water.
Water battery assembly process
To assemble the battery, you need to combine 2 electrodes made of steel and copper wire through an insulated copper wire. The connection is made by soldering.
Then you need to solder one more copper and steel electrode to the capacitor through insulated wires. After this, add salted water to 2 glasses. Electrodes connected to one right are immersed in them.
A copper electrode connected to a capacitor is placed in a glass with a steel electrode. A steel glass, also soldered to the capacitor, is lowered into the second glass with copper.
Now you can remove enough energy from the legs of the capacitor to power the clock. The wire from the side of the steel electrode is connected to “+”, and from the side of the copper electrode to “-”. Try it, it works!
