Renovating from an old hair clipper
Many people have an old hair clipper with damaged knives lying around. Her engine is still running, but she can no longer cut hair. In this case, the tool can be given a second life by converting it into a renovator with a nail file.
What you will need:
- Hair clipper;
- M4 bolts with nut – 3 pcs.;
- steel strip 15x40 mm;
- saw blade attachment for renovator.
Machine conversion process
The body of the machine must be unscrewed to get to the lever that moves the movable blade.
It needs to be removed, drilled, and a bolt installed in the hole, and then tightened with a nut.
After this, the machine is put back together.
Next, you need to take a steel strip and drill 2 holes in it that coincide with the holes in the saw blade for the renovator.
It is also drilled in the center. Then the parts are screwed together.
Thus, we get an adapter that allows you to attach the canvas to the machine. Now, when you turn it on, you can cut various materials.The tool does not do this as quickly as a real renovator, but it is more compact and suitable for working in hard-to-reach places.
