Famous shashlik recipe from the USSR
There are different options for marinating meat for barbecue. There is a lover for everyone. But there is a marinade, originally from the USSR, that everyone likes. It is quite simple to prepare; it does not require exotic ingredients or a lot of time.
Ingredients:
- pork neck;
- onion;
- salt, black pepper to taste;
- 1 tbsp. table vinegar.
We cook according to the famous recipe from the Soviet Union:
Chop the onion into half rings and mash with your hands to release juice. Place in a deep container, salt, pepper and sprinkle with vinegar.
Cut the meat into small pieces, literally into a couple of chews. Place on top in a single row, season with salt and pepper.
Repeat layers and compact. Cover the dish with a lid and marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Before cooking over the fire, stir and add a little salt if necessary. Place only meat on skewers.
Turn over on the grill periodically so that it cooks evenly. Sprinkle the finished dish with onions and serve.
Such a simple but delicious recipe will delight even the most avid gourmet.
