Spring birch tree made of beads
The symbol of spring and beauty is the birch tree. She is very elegant, beautiful and useful. Why not have such beauty at home? Most often, needlewomen begin their work with this tree. Today I will show you a simple master class on how to make it. It will be approximately 20 centimeters high.
For the branches, we need two shades of Czech beads:
Dark green – 25 g;
bright green – 10 g;
Wire (brown) 0.03 – 1 coil;
Threads;
Thick wire (for forming branches and trunk) - 2 pieces of 25 centimeters each.
Purple large beads (for a flower) – 1 bag;
Pink beads – 5 g;
Gypsum – 400 g;
The paint is brown;
The paint is white;
Black varnish;
Beads for decoration.
To begin, we cut the wire for the branch, about 60 cm. We collect three beads of a dark green shade, then one bright one and again three dark ones.
We guide the beads to the middle of the wire and scroll 2-3 times, making a loop.
Retreating somewhere 1 cm, we make 5 more such loops.
And the same thing on the other side. There should be 11 loops in total.
Now we fold the wire in half on the sixth loop and begin to twist the branch.
Here we have one branch. For the top of the birch tree we do everything exactly the same, but only 7 loops, 4 are twisted in half.
We attach another one to the first thick wire, forming a trunk. We take 8 branches (7 loops each) for each trunk and twist them all together. Then we wind our top onto a thick wire. And the same on the other trunk.
Next, we twist 3 branches of 11 loops into one. You will need about 13 such pairs. The more, the fluffier the birch tree will be. We wind the branches onto a thick wire and secure them with threads.
Now we will make a flower from purple beads. Cut 25 cm of wire. We weave in a parallel way.
We make seven petals. For the rod, cut the wires 15 centimeters. Collect 30 pink beads and twist them into a spiral.
This is the kind of flower we will get.
Select a container for the bottom of the birch tree. Place a plastic bag on top. Dilute 200 grams of gypsum with water. Pour the mixture into a container and place a birch tree on top. Immediately insert the purple flower. The plaster will harden overnight. Then coat the birch trunk with the solution using a brush. Again, wait overnight for complete drying.
Then we apply white paint to the barrel. Let dry for three hours. Paint the bottom part with brown paint.
At the end we apply strokes of black varnish. The birch is ready!
