Flower "Pansy"
Massive jewelry has always distinguished creative and daring people from the crowd, and now they have become a “must-have” in the fashion world. Today, the larger and more noticeable the ring, the more accentuated the sense of style and following fashion trends, the more the attention of others is attracted. Massive rings have been flashing on world catwalks for several seasons in a row. And if such a ring is also made in the shape of a flower, which is very important for the spring and summer, then it will further emphasize the impeccable taste of its owner.
Today we will try to make such a fashionable decoration with our own hands. We will sculpt a pansy flower and then connect it to the base ring.
To make such a remarkable decoration with our own hands, we will need the following materials and tools:
We separate about two-thirds of the material from the purple block, knead it and roll it out into a sausage with a diameter of 5 mm.The purple clay used in this case contains inclusions of purple sparkles, which will further give the decoration additional charm.
From a small piece of black clay we fashion a strip with a length equal to the length of the finished sausage. Place the resulting element on top of the purple blank.
We compress the workpiece as much as possible and cut it into elements 4 mm wide.
We press the resulting elements together.
We cut the resulting workpiece crosswise and connect the resulting parts in a mirror image.
Roll out the white and purple sausages so that the white piece is about one and a half times longer than the purple one.
Cut the sausages into equal segments - 4 purple, 6 white. We will make a smooth color transition from the resulting pieces, so for convenience we arrange them into working piles, as shown in the figure.
We mix colors - leave one purple segment untouched, mix the second and knead well with one white piece, the third with two white pieces, etc.
We stretch the resulting colored elements and place them on top of the previously made striped blank, giving it the shape of a petal.
We press and stretch the workpiece, making it more like a flower petal.
Cut off excess material from the sides. It will be useful to us in the future.
Our workpiece is still very thick, let's take advantage of this and cut it across.
We continue to form the shape of the petal, pressing and stretching one of the resulting elements until we get a beautiful petal with a gradient.
We make the second petal as similar as possible to the first, after which we proceed to the production of a double lower petal according to a principle similar to the production of previous floral elements. We make a blank from a yellow sausage and two clay strips - black and white.
We press the workpiece and cut it into segments.
We perform pressing.
We cut across and connect in mirror.
We give the workpiece a heart shape and fill the void between the sides with white clay.
We knead the previously cut clay until we get a uniform material. At the same time, knead and place a strip of white material on the working petal. Place a light purple strip of clay on top.
We press the workpiece with our fingers, forming a petal.
We make two simple light purple petals from the remaining material.
We combine the resulting elements and additionally fasten them in the middle with a ball of yellow clay.
Bake the product according to the instructions included with the polymer clay. Let the flower cool and glue it to the base ring using a hot glue gun. The unique “Pansies” ring is ready!
