Snowman
To make Santa Claus's New Year's troubles easier, I propose to make him a cheerful snowman as an assistant! After all, it will be much more fun for them together to deliver congratulations and spread present. We will make a snowman using the wool felting technique. For the manufacture of crafts we need:
Let's start making a snowman - a little helper. From padding polyester, using a needle No. 38, we roll out three balls of different sizes: one large, the second smaller and the third the smallest. When they are ready, we wrap them evenly with white wool.
Next, using a felting needle No. 38, we dump the resulting balls. As they fall, change the needle to 40 and continue felting until the balls become smooth and dense.
Now we connect the parts using a needle No. 38, directing it vertically to the largest ball and attaching a small ball.
Now that two balls are already fastened together, we attach the third. We attach the middle ball to the smallest one.
After this, we secure the parts well with wool, as in the photo below.
It turns out like this snow-white snowman from three balls.
Now let’s bring our snowman to life. Using a needle No. 38 we mark the places for the eyes and mouth. Then in place of the cheeks we add a little white wool and first press it with a needle No. 38, and then continue working with a needle No. 40. We tint the cheeks pink.
Then we lay out the eyes, eyebrows and mouth with black wool and roll them well.
Having acquired facial features, the snowman assistant came to life.
In order for our assistant not to freeze, we take blue wool and form felt boots for the snowman from it.
Now we felt the blue felt boots well until they become dense and take on the required shape.
Now we need to make a sole from gray wool.
We attach the sole to the product using a needle. The shoes are ready, the snowman can hit the road.
We connect the felt boots to the body using a needle No. 38.
Then we attach them well with white wool using a needle No. 38 and 40.
We make handles. To do this, we form ovals from white wool, 2 pieces.
Having formed a couple of ovals, we felt them well until they were dense.
Similarly, we make mittens for a snowman from yellow wool.
We collect all the parts and get these pens.
We form a hat in the form of a cap from blue wool and fold it.
We decorate the hat with yellow stripes and a bubo. Now she is completely ready!
We connect the arms with the body of the snowman using a needle.
We make a scarf from yellow wool and decorate it with transverse blue stripes.
We form a bag with gifts from red wool and dump it.
We dress the assistant in a hat, tie a scarf for him and attach a bag, you can use a needle, or you can glue it. All! A cheerful snowman is ready to help Santa Claus.
