Kitchen board with abstract pattern

Don't know what to give to someone near and dear to you? There is nothing better than handmade gifts; you put your soul and love into them. Kitchen board with abstract pattern “Fish” - original present, which will definitely be appreciated. In my master class, I will tell you step by step how the composition was created and color spots were selected.

We will need these tools and materials:

• - oval kitchen board;
  
• - soft pencil;
  
• - brush;
  
• - paints (gouache);
  
• - wood varnish.

We need paints of the following colors (not necessarily ready-made, they can be mixed):

• - light red;
  
• - red dark;
  
• - blue;
  
• - blue;
  
• - light green;
  
• - turquoise;
  
• - emerald.

Creation steps:

1. Draw fish with a soft pencil. We come up with a general composition and work out the details. The general spot of the drawing should be inscribed in the shape of the board, in our case it is an oval.



2. Paint some of the elements (fins and tails) with emerald-colored paint.



3. Now take the turquoise color and draw partially the torso and heads of the fish.



4.We add light red color spots to the overall compositional solution. Try to alternate warm and cold shades to make the compositional solution holistic and harmonious.



5. Paint the remaining parts of the picture with blue paint.



6. Using blue, we begin to draw patterns on the bodies of the fish, partially outline the outline, and draw the eyes.



7. Finish the drawing: add swirls of dark red color on the light red spots and light green color on the blue and turquoise parts of the image.



The original kitchen board with an abstract pattern is ready! Cover it with clear varnish so that the product is not afraid of moisture. You can give free rein to your imagination and come up with your own unique composition.
