Santa Claus made of paper
An invariable attribute of the New Year is Santa Claus. We decided to make it ourselves. Even children can create it, since there is nothing complicated about it. For this we needed:

First we need to make the face of Santa Claus. Unfortunately, the set of colored paper did not contain the tone we needed, so we had to make it from ordinary white paper. We cut out a circle whose diameter is equal to the smaller diameter of the plate.

Now we need to paint it pink.

To do this, we mixed red and white gouache and applied it to paper.

Then we glued double-sided tape to the plate.

Then they put a pre-painted circle there and glued it to the plate. Now we are making eyes for Santa Claus. We cut them out of plain white paper.

Glue them onto the painted circle inside the plate.

Next we draw the iris of the eyes.

Naturally, it was possible not to draw it, but to cut it out of dark paper and then paste it on, but we didn’t have colored paper of that tone in our kit either. Cut out a mustache from white paper. To do this, you need to first cut out a strip, fold it in half and cut a semicircle at the bottom of the strip. After that, we straighten the mustache and stick it close to the eyes.

Now we cut out a nose for Santa Claus from fluorescent paper.

Glue it in the middle of the mustache.

As you can see, we already have a pretty face, but something is missing...
Need a beard. We make it from cotton pads. At first we tried to glue them to the plate with double-sided tape, but nothing came of it. Then we used glue.

They applied it to paper, after which discs were applied. Now we need to put a hat on Santa Claus. To do this, we cut off the plate at the top.

Then we cut out a triangle from a piece of fluorescent paper.

Since this is self-adhesive paper, we remove the film at the bottom of the triangle and glue the headdress to the face of Santa Claus.

The triangle can be folded to give it a more realistic look. Then we glued cotton pads cut in half at the junction of the face with the headdress.

Next, we placed our Santa Claus on the carpet, which hangs on one of our walls.

Then they decorated it with a chic beard made of cotton pads along the edges of the plate.
This is how Santa Claus will be with us until the New Year.
