Decorating a box of chocolates

What do you usually give to work colleagues or people as a token of gratitude? Of course, a box of chocolates or a tea set. In fact, even so banal present can be turned into a masterpiece if you decorate a box of chocolates with corrugated paper flowers. And now the box turns into a lovely basket of flowers. For such a transformation we will need the following materials:

• Colored corrugated paper.
  
• Glue "Titan" or "Moment".
  
• Toothpicks.
  
• Foil.
  
• Cotton wool.
  
• Gold-colored ribbons, beads, fragments of braid.
  
• A box of sweets in the shape of a basket ("Inspiration" sweets).

First, you need to decide on the color scheme in which you want to decorate the gift. I chose warm yellow-brown tones. Next, you need to make a sufficient number of flowers of different colors.
So, cut the paper into rectangles and cut out petals from them. To make the core of the rose, twist a small piece of cotton wool and glue it onto a toothpick with glue. Then we cut out a square of foil and put it on top of the cotton ball, twist it at the bottom and get this base for the rose.



This is necessary for the volume of the flower, onto which we will gradually glue the petals one by one.The first element - the core of the flower - should be glued on top of this base of cotton wool and foil. To make the rose look impressive, you need to make this element protruding in length from the center of the flower above the leaves. So, we wrap the foil with a long protruding petal.


Next, glue the petals in order, first straightening them carefully with your fingers at the top to give them a natural look.








For our composition we will make two flowers of different colors. Two yellow, two brown, two yellow with a brown center, etc.

Glue one green leaf to each flower. After the flowers are ready, we begin to decorate the top of the box with them.


We plant flowers on glue. Now that the top is ready, you should wrap the box itself with corrugated paper. Take two colors of paper, brown and green. Measure out the required strips of paper, do not forget to carefully stretch them along the edges before decorating. Glue the paper to the box, tie it with ribbon, decorate with fragments of ribbon, and you can also glue a heart, flower or bell in the center.
Use gold ribbons to cover the gaping spaces between the flowers at the top for a beautiful look.
