Easter egg stand “Chicken”
To beautifully present colored eggs on the festive Easter table, you need an original stand. Many housewives buy special plastic dishes with indentations for eggs, but such products do not look very presentable. If there will be children at your holiday table, you can arrange Easter eggs and dyes in special paper coasters with animals.
Today you will learn how to make a paper Easter egg stand. To work you will need the following components:
- thin wrapping paper;
- two sheets of cardboard;
- high-quality glue stick;
- drawing of a chicken;
- marker;
- a simple pencil;
- scissors;
- openwork ribbons of different shades;
- a tube of PVA glue.
How to create a beautiful stand? First, cover one of the sheets of cardboard with thin wrapping paper. To do this, you need to use a high-quality glue stick. Apply glue to the surface of the cardboard and glue the paper, carefully pressing it with your hands.
The cardboard must be glued on both sides.
Next, attach the drawing of the chicken to the second sheet of cardboard and cut out the stencil.
Using the stencil, make 2 blanks from double-sided cardboard.You also need to prepare a strip measuring 6 cm by 14 cm.
The strip must be twisted into a ring. In order for everything to work out well and quickly, it is advisable to make two cuts of 3 cm: on the upper right side and the lower left side. Connect the resulting cuts into a lock and the ring will come out.
Using a heat gun, glue this blank to the “chicken” parts. First on one side.
Then attach the second part, symmetrically to the first, and fix it with glue from a hot-melt gun.
All that remains is to decorate the chickens. Cut out suitable elements from a white openwork ribbon; these will be wings and a tail. Two red flowers will become a comb, and a black circle will become an eye.
Fix all parts on a cardboard base using PVA glue. Draw the beak with a black marker.
It turns out to be a funny stand in the shape of a chicken.
On a holiday, place a painted egg on a stand.
Such a thing will be a great decoration for the Easter table.
Instead of a “chicken” stencil, you can use a drawing of a bunny, rabbit or any other funny animal. Children will be delighted with such unusual coasters. These toys will also come in handy after the eggs are eaten. Kids and adults can organize an interesting story game.
