I would like to present to your attention baked chicken legs in the oven on a wire rack. According to this recipe, they turn out very tasty and with a crispy, beautiful crust. At the same time, it will take you a minimum of effort to prepare them, and the result will be worth it. By the way, these baked legs are very tasty, both hot and cold.
We will need:
- Legs 2 pcs.
- Mayonnaise 50 ml.
- A pinch of salt.
- Garlic 2 cloves
- A couple of pinches of chopped coriander.
- Ground red pepper to taste.
- Chopped ginger 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step recipe for cooking chicken on a wire rack in the oven
First, prepare the legs and rub them with a little salt. By the way, it is advisable to do this even under the skin.
Now we will need to prepare the sauce. To do this, add ground red pepper, coriander, finely chopped garlic, and also ginger to the mayonnaise (I use it in powder form).
Next, mix everything thoroughly.
Now grease the legs with the prepared sauce on all sides and then leave the meat to marinate for about a couple of hours.
Next, place the marinated legs on a wire rack in the oven. In this case, you will need to place some kind of baking sheet under the grate so that the melted fat has somewhere to drain.
Bake the meat for about 50-60 minutes at a temperature of 200 degrees.
