It's hard to find a person who doesn't like French fries. Crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside, children especially like it.
It’s very easy to prepare these potatoes yourself at home, and the result will be the same as in the best restaurants in the city.
Ingredients
- Peeled potatoes – 8-10 pieces;
- Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- Salt - to taste.
Step-by-step recipe with photos for cooking French fries in the oven
1. Wash and discuss the potatoes, and then cut into oblong slices, typical for fries. Place all pieces into a plastic bag.
2. Pour vegetable oil into the bag with chopped potatoes. Tie or twist the bag and mix the slices thoroughly. It is necessary that the oil is evenly distributed.
3. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pour out all the potatoes and spread them evenly over the surface of the parchment. Don't add salt!
4. Place the potatoes to bake in an oven preheated to 230 degrees for 35–40 minutes.
5. Season the finished French fries well with salt and mix gently.
On a note! If you salt the potatoes before baking, you won't get a crispy crust.
