Basket of roses
Winter is not a reason for there to be no flowers in the house. From satin or brocade ribbons you can create beautiful roses that will decorate your home all year round.
In order to create a basket of roses you will need several materials:
1. Several cuts of white satin ribbons. For one rose, one meter of ribbon 5 cm wide is spent, so the number of meters is equal to the number of desired roses.
2. One meter of brocade ribbon, the color of which is gold. The width of the tape should be 4-5 cm.
3. Glue gun or its other name is hot glue.
4. Basket.
5. Several sheets of white paper.
6. Toothpicks.
We begin the creative process by filling the contents of the basket with paper. After all, the roses will lie on top of the basket, and in order to fix them in this position, you need to fill all the voids with paper filler.
Fold one sheet into another, and do this several times.
Then place the bundle in the basket and press lightly.
The next step is to start rolling the roses.
Place the ribbons wrong side up and bend the edge at a 30 degree angle. Now roll up small tours from ribbons. The lower part of the ribbon, which will turn into a bud, must be stitched with thread.
When the flower bud is fixed, you need to bend the tape up and form a circle of petals.
Constantly bending the tape away from you, you need to form the petals of the flower. Every second fold should be glued to the previous satin row.
Try to make the bends not on the same line, but move them slightly to the side, compared to the internal tour.
In addition to white satin roses, it is necessary to form a similar flower from gold brocade. Try to fix brocade with glue as often as possible, this material is more “unruly” than satin.
Once the flowers are rolled, turn them wrong side up. Glue one toothpick into the middle of the flower; they will act as pedicels and secure the rose in the paper layers with which the basket is filled.
Each pedicel must be generously lubricated with hot adhesive mixture from a gun and secured in the basket.
First, a golden rose is planted in the center, and in the next stage, snow-white flowers are distributed around it.
When the basket is ready, you can decorate its handle with ribbon.
If you want to give the flowers a sheen of silvery dew, then stick on several white rhinestones in the form of a chaotic scattering. They are fixed on the edges of flowers, not in the core. Such a basket can be presented to a loved one as a gift or used to decorate your own home.
