Chrysanthemum
The most unusual decorations can be made from ribbons. The most common technique used today for making jewelry is kanzashi. I suggest making a chrysanthemum flower to decorate clothes, hairstyles, etc.
To make a chrysanthemum, you will need a satin ribbon 2.5 cm wide. For this chrysanthemum, I used 2 colors of ribbon, light pink and pink.
In addition to the tapes you will need:
- scissors;
- candle;
- glue gun;
- middle;
- cardboard or felt for the base;
- tape for wrapping a cardboard circle.
So, a chrysanthemum is a flower consisting of many sharp petals. I used 71 petals in a flower with a base diameter of 5 cm, and 30 petals in a flower with a base diameter of 3 cm.
To make one petal you will need a piece of tape 6.5 cm long, so before starting to make the petals you can safely cut the tape into 6.5 cm pieces.

Take one piece of tape and fold it with a corner so that a right angle is formed.

Next, fold the resulting triangle 2 more times.

Now he turns the corners inward, holds it with tweezers and trims off the excess.We secure the edge of the tape using the flame of a candle or lighter. The petal is ready.

We make all the other petals in this way.

Now you need to make the base. You can just take felt and cut out a circle. if there is no felt, then you should cut out a circle from cardboard and wrap it with satin flying material. Secure the ends of the tape with a glue gun.

Flower assembly.
First, glue a row of petals along the edge of the round base. In the second row we glue the petals in a checkerboard pattern. We completely fill the base with petals in rows. I got 6 rows. Since I used petals of two colors, I laid out one row with pink petals, and the second with light pink petals.

In the 1st row there are 19 petals, in the 2nd row - 16 petals, in the 3rd row - 13 petals, in the 4th row - 9 petals, in the 5th row - 8 petals, in the 6th row - 6 petals. Total 71 petals.
Glue a bead in the middle.

The flower is ready. It can be attached to a hoop, brooch mount or clip.
